How to delete your data

1. Controller and scope

This policy describes how Reels Publisher processes data. Reels Publisher is a web tool for publishing short videos (Reels and TikTok videos) to your own accounts through the official Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok APIs. The data controller is Francisco Daniel Jimenez Fernandez. Support and privacy contact: me@pamsho.dev.

Reels Publisher is an independent application. It is not an official product of Meta, Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. This policy applies to the app; it does not describe how those platforms process data.

This page is part of pamsho.dev, which uses Vercel Analytics and may display Google AdSense advertising. These website tools are independent of Reels Publisher and are not integrated into it.

2. Signing in with Meta and TikTok

Authorization takes place on the official Facebook/Instagram and TikTok pages. Reels Publisher does not receive or store your passwords; it receives access tokens with the permissions you approve:

  • TikTok: user.info.basic (open_id, display name, and profile picture), video.upload (upload videos as drafts), and video.publish (publish videos to your profile).
  • Meta: pages_show_list, pages_read_engagement, and pages_manage_posts (identify your Page and publish Reels to it), instagram_basic and instagram_content_publish (identify your professional Instagram account and publish Reels), and business_management (access assets in your business portfolio).

You can revoke these permissions at any time in each platform's settings (see section 6).

3. Data used and purposes

Authorization credentials: access tokens and, where the platform provides them, refresh tokens, to publish on your behalf only when you request it.

Profile data: user identifier (open_id or Page/Instagram ID), display name, and profile picture, to show which account will receive the publication.

Content you publish: the video file, caption, hashtags, and privacy settings you choose. These are used only to send the content to the destination platform.

Publication results: publication identifiers, upload status, and error messages, to show whether publication was completed.

Reels Publisher does not read your messages, followers, comments, or content from other accounts, and does not use your data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

4. Recipients and external services

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok receive the videos, text, and tokens needed for publication. Their own policies govern subsequent processing of published content.

The app is hosted on Vercel. Videos may be stored temporarily in the developer's cloud storage only while they are being processed and published.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.

See the Meta Privacy Policy and the TikTok Privacy Policy.

5. Storage and security

Tokens are stored encrypted on the server and are never exposed in the browser or in public logs. All communications use HTTPS.

No system provides absolute security: protect your Meta and TikTok accounts with strong passwords and two-step verification.

6. Data retention and deletion

Uploaded videos are deleted from temporary storage once published or, if publication fails, within a maximum of 7 days. Tokens are retained until you disconnect your account, revoke permissions, or they expire. Publication records are retained for up to 90 days.

How to delete your data:

  1. TikTok: open TikTok → Profile → Menu → Settings and privacy → Security & permissions → Apps and services → select Reels Publisher → Remove access.
  2. Facebook/Instagram: open Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → select Reels Publisher → Remove.
  3. Direct request: email me@pamsho.dev with the subject "Delete data — Reels Publisher". We will delete your tokens, profile data, and records within a maximum of 30 days and confirm by email.

Removing access does not delete videos you have already published to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok; manage those directly on each platform.

7. Privacy requests and support

To ask about this policy or request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, email me@pamsho.dev and indicate that your request concerns Reels Publisher. Do not send passwords, tokens, or private codes.

8. Changes to this policy

We will publish updates on this page and indicate the version date. If a new feature materially changes how data is processed, we will update this information.
